Google Cloud CDN is Google's content delivery network that caches content at Google's edge to accelerate delivery for teams serving content from Google Cloud. It runs across 100+ points of presence on a global anycast network with usage-based per-GB pricing and no perpetual free tier, though new customers can use Google Cloud trial credit. DDoS protection and WAF capabilities are provided through Cloud Armor as a separate add-on rather than bundled into the CDN. Generally available since around 2016, it carries SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP attestations and fits enterprise teams operating within Google Cloud.
