Google Artifact Registry is Google Cloud's managed service for storing OCI-compliant container images and language packages, aimed at teams building and deploying on Google Cloud. It includes vulnerability scanning through Artifact Analysis and is the successor to the older Container Registry. It is a managed cloud service and is not self-hostable. A small free monthly storage allowance is included, with usage-based billing for storage and egress beyond it. It carries SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and HIPAA compliance.
